The greatest advantage of the pulling aid with steel hooks in weight training is the absolute relief of the hand and wrists. In contrast to pulling aids with tape, you don't have to laboriously tie a hook around the dumbbell or the pull-up bar. A single movement is enough to secure it. That saves time and tiresome straightening of the belt.
Since the hook of the pulling aid hangs firmly on the bar, absolutely no gripping force has to be applied here. It hangs, so to speak, on your wrist, around which the cuff of the hook is attached.
On the one hand, this has the advantage that the fitness athlete can concentrate 100 percent on the relevant muscle group, for example the back when rowing.
The wrists are also very spared when training with heavy weights with our pulling aids, as the hook is attached to the wrist with a wrist bandage made of neoprene rubber. A strong Velcro fastener makes it easy to put on and take off the wrist bandage.
